We receive funding through the Commonwealth Department of Family and Community Services to provide employment assistance to people who have a disability, injury or condition. To be eligible for our specialist employment assistance, the disability, injury or condition that you have, must require ongoing employment support. The services provided by Highlands Support Services Inc. include: Assessment Prevocational skills development Training Job search On-the-job support Young people with disabilities can take advantage of the Highlands Employment program, including assistance in training and preparation for employment. The program facilitates effective transition from school to work through "one-on-one" employment counselling and work experience programs.
